Thursday Review: We’re Worth It

We're Worth It

Wereworthit.com is a site that was launched in 2006 and features environmentally friendly products with positive messages of self-worth.  I absolutely love that they also delight in giving back to the community.  The company has teamed up with Hour Children to offer self-help workshops and seminars.  Hour Children is an organization that works with families to provide stable housing. The items sold at wereworthit.com have a postiive message "I'm worth it!" displayed.  As the owner of wereworthit.com states, "Just three simple words can do so much for a person's self esteem, when a person is having a difficult time or just in the course of a regular day, just being reminded 'I'm Worth It!' can make all the difference." Wereworthit.com has coffee mugs, t-shirts, baby bibs, and more available on their website.  The t-shirts are made of 100% cotton (with some even being made from 100% organic cotton!)  and are absolutely comfy!  For each sale of a t-shirt, a 5% donation is made to the Center For Disease Foundation. Thanks to the wonderful owners of wereworthit.com, Saving Money Wisely readers can purchase items at a 20% discount using the code "worth" at checkout through 12/31/10.  Not only are these great products, but they are supporting a wonderful cause as well!

Thursday Giveaway! Baby Dipper Bowl!

Baby Dipper bowl with fork_s

Several months ago, I did a review of the Baby Dipper Bowl.  You can check out that review HERE.  However, since that point, I still use and LOVE this product!  The baby dipper bowl is a baby or toddler feeding bowl that is specially made for you to be able to feed with one hand.  Now, when I first received this product my son was about 6 months old and just getting into eating baby food.  He wasn't quite ready to sit up on his own, so at times I had to hold him on my lap and make my best attempt at feeding him his food one handed.  Let me tell ya - this was not fun!  I received the baby dipper and was impressed with the look.  It had a contoured bottom so that all of the food would automatically shift to the base and also came with a great spoon that worked perfectly with the bowl.  One handed feeding was a breeze with this product as it also has a rubberized base to keep it from moving around on the table.  It really has made feeding so much easier - and like I said, I am still using it regularly several months later!   As of January the product is now 100% BPA free and comes with a spoon and a fork. You can purchase the Baby Dipper at their main site, One Step Ahead, and on Amazon.

The creator of Baby Dipper has been so kind to offer a giveaway for this product.  If you have a little one that you look after you'll really want to try this out!  It has been a lifesaver for me.  So, here is how you can enter to win!
